Yes. That's right. A tiny fucking island on top of the world "north of all of mainland Canada, north of Alaska (except for a tiny sliver of the North Slope)" has better fucking reception than San Francisco, arguably the most technology forward city on earth.
Or, as I put it elsewhere
"it's easier to get a good cup of tea and decent mobile phone reception up the side of Ben Nevis than it is to get either of those anywhere in the whole of the US"
